I was born in Idaho Falls, ID and raised in Rexburg, ID. Its a small town but, “Hey you got to start somewhere!”
Growing up I loved to draw and doodle which I started doing illustration when I was just a boy. I was introduced by some friends that had done some
business cards for themselves and became very interested in how graphic
design played apart in the illustration world. I found that graphic
designers would actually hire illustrators and vise versa.
I then became in love with putting type with some of my illustrations
and found that learning graphic design would be very benefitcial. So
after taking classes and working project after project I found that
illustration tied in with web design and basically went from there.
I’ve been doing web design ever since and had many opportunites to use
my illustration skills in web design.
I have an associate’s degree with an ephasis in integreted studio art which also includes Graphic Design. The University I attended was Brigham Young University - Idaho.
